Client is seeking an experienced Python Developer for a 7-week onsite engagement to develop analytics solutions using Python, Databricks, and statistical modeling techniques, with a focus on Monte Carlo simulations and risk-oriented data analysis.
Requirements
- 6-9 years of hands-on, advanced-level Python development experience.
- Strong expertise in Databricks, including data processing, notebooks, and workflow execution.
- Solid foundation in statistics, including Monte Carlo simulation, stochastic modeling, and probability analysis.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools/libraries (Matplotlib, Plotly, Seaborn, or equivalents).
- Ability to build, interpret, and explain simulation models and analytical results.
- Intermediate experience with AI/ML solutions (development, optimization, or integration).
- Experience supporting or working within risk analytics environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Python-based analytics workflows within Databricks.
- Build and execute Monte Carlo simulations and additional statistical models to support risk and scenario analysis.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and interpret outcomes for stakeholders.
- Create dashboards and visualizations to clearly present insights and analytical findings.
- Collaborate with lead data analytics and risk teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality outputs.
- Document methodologies, assumptions, and results for traceability and reproducibility.
- Provide technical guidance on statistical modeling, simulation techniques, and analytical best practices.
