Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO) technology team is looking to develop applications for acquiring, storing, and calculating on large volumes of data using mathematical formulas
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Python Developer primarily backend applications
- Strong knowledge of Python and familiarity with various Python libraries and frameworks such as Pandas, NumPy, Flask, Django, Fast API
- Understanding of code quality, DevSecOps, and automated testing
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
- Experience with Docker or other containerization technologies
- Experience Analytical platforms like Snowflake
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement complex Python data computation applications
- Lead the design and implementation of key features and components of our product suite
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
- Ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and maintainability through linting and automated testing
- Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure software deliverables meet high-quality standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and other technical issues

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Experience in leading a team or mentoring junior developers is a plus
