The Staff Python Engineer will contribute to developing new data-driven product features and enhancing existing functionalities related to natural language processing and machine learning technologies.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python and Golang programming languages
- Experience leading end-to-end software projects on major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Strong background in data ingestion, processing, and retrieval systems at scale
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Pulumi
- Experience with deployment automation using tools like GitHub Actions
- Experience working with real-time, distributed systems
Responsibilities
- Architect and extend scalable data ingestion pipelines and data stores to handle large volumes of data efficiently
- Design, package, and optimize the Delta product for deployment across diverse environments, including on-premises, cloud, and single-machine setups
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop information retrieval architectures for document and graph analysis
- Work closely with machine learning engineers and data scientists to incorporate new models and algorithms, ensuring high performance and scalability
- Handle large datasets involving event detection, topic modeling, relation extraction, summarization, entity recognition, and multilingual NLP tasks
- Maintain and improve code quality, standards, and tooling to support continuous integration and deployment
- Contribute to architectural decisions, best practices, and open-source projects that align with company goals
