U.S. Bank is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure that all information systems products and services meet company standards and end-user requirements, contributing to the success of their technology initiatives.

Requirements

  • Experience in testing web services, web UI, APIs, and agile methodologies
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles and testing methodologies
  • Proficiency in SQL for data validation and test support
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium for automated testing
  • Hands on experience using programming languages C or Java
  • Working experience in Application testing
  • Working experience in Software process improvement

Responsibilities

  • Participates in the quality assurance process following procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet company standards and end-user requirements.
  • Conducts project reviews and complex process audits and assists in major audits/reviews of projects and subcontractors.
  • Ensures deliverables meet audit criteria.
  • Evaluates and reviews products and processes.
  • Develops, publishes, and implements test plans to ensure quality applications and writes, maintains, and automates software testing.
  • Design, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases for browser-based applications.
  • Write and execute SQL queries to validate backend data and support testing efforts.

Other

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • At least four years of experience with the processes, tools, techniques and practices for assuring adherence to quality standards associated with developing, enhancing and operationalizing application systems and databases
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with self-motivation
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment (3 days in office, 2 days remote) as part of a geographically distributed team.
