The partner company of Jobgether is looking to ensure the quality, reliability, and security of multi-platform software products by hiring a QA Analyst in the United States.
Requirements
- Expertise in testing across multiple platforms: web/SaaS applications, mobile apps, and desktop clients.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, functional/regression/integration testing, and test case management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Insomnia) and basic database/SQL validation.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows.
- Security-conscious mindset with experience testing authentication, permissions, and privacy features.
- Experience integrating AI automation into testing workflows.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance.
Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive manual and automated testing across web, mobile (iOS/Android), and desktop (macOS/Windows) applications.
- Develop, document, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and regression suites.
- Identify, track, and verify resolution of bugs using tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
- Conduct API testing and validate backend services for functionality and reliability.
- Test security, access controls, data privacy, and encryption to ensure platform integrity.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and security teams in Agile development processes to ensure high-quality releases.
- Contribute to improving QA processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and coverage.
