Intelliguard is looking to ensure the quality of their embedded and enterprise systems, which support critical functions in healthcare environments, by hiring a QA Automation Engineer to manually test software and automate existing test cases.
Requirements
- 3+ years of proven experience in software testing and test automation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, JavaScript, or similar.
- Basic understanding of test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
- Strong proficiency in writing clear and concise test cases.
- Experience using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Azure, or similar).
- Familiarity with testing against acceptance criteria and ability to think creatively to find edge cases.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
Responsibilities
- Write and execute manual test cases for embedded and enterprise software solutions.
- Perform black-box and exploratory testing to validate the functionality and reliability of software-hardware integration.
- Automate existing manual test cases using appropriate tools and frameworks.
- Maintain and improve existing automation scripts to ensure continued relevance and effectiveness.
- Perform regression testing after code changes to ensure no new defects are introduced.
- Investigate, document, and report defects in Jira with detailed reproduction steps.
- Work closely with development teams to resolve issues, verify fixes, and ensure all defects are addressed.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, science, healthcare, or a related field.
- Equivalent relevant experience in software testing may be considered in place of formal education.
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills.
- Proactive and self-driven, with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
