LILT is looking to solve the problem of ensuring the quality and performance of its AI-powered translation platform through the hiring of a Software Test Engineer.
Requirements
- Proven experience in software testing principles and methodologies
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, and JEST
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub for version control
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or similar
- Knowledge of API testing concepts and tools such as Postman
- Experience with load and performance testing tools like Grafana K6
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for various aspects of the LILT platform, including API, UI, and performance testing
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand requirements and identify automation opportunities
- Execute automated and manual tests, analyze results, and generate comprehensive reports
- Triaging and resolving automated test failures to ensure continuous integration and deployment
- Perform manual testing of new features, including exploratory and regression testing to identify potential issues
- Document test cases and maintain a database of known issues and test results for all application features
- Participate in the software release process, ensuring quality standards are met
