Light & Wonder is looking to solve the problem of ensuring high-quality gaming products by hiring a Quality Assurance Engineer, Software to debug software on new and existing products and maintain high overall product quality.

Requirements

  • Understanding of software test methodologies/procedures and the overall product development lifecycle
  • Experience with C and/or C++ and/or C
  • Working knowledge of Linux/Unix/Windows
  • Working knowledge of Visual Studio
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Working knowledge of computer operation and principles of computer hardware

Responsibilities

  • Develops, modifies and executes software test plans, automated scripts and programs for testing.
  • Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures.
  • Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
  • Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.
  • Submit, track, and assist with escalation, if needed, any product issues found during testing to ensure that they are resolved.
  • Reproduce issues, when necessary, in order to assist software development in resolving issues.
  • Interface with other members of Product Development in order to effectively communicate and assist with resolution of all reported issues in a timely manner before the gaming product is released.

Other

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics &, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of software quality assurance experience required for experienced candidates.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with other team members
