Logitech is looking to ensure the quality, stability, and performance of their next-generation software and firmware platforms, particularly within their Video Collaboration product line, by hiring a Sr. Software QA Engineer.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in manual testing methodologies including functional, integration, system, and regression testing
  • Expertise in creating detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports based on product requirements and user workflows
  • Strong knowledge of test case management and defect tracking tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, JIRA
  • Solid troubleshooting skills and defect isolation capabilities across software, firmware, and hardware interfaces
  • Basic understanding of automation frameworks (Python) for transitioning manual test flows
  • Experience testing complex consumer devices such as video bars, and familiarity with USB, Bluetooth, or wireless communication protocols
  • Knowledge of video/audio testing concepts including codec behavior, camera framing, voice pickup, and conferencing platform integration (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet)

Responsibilities

  • Define and own manual test strategies for new product features, firmware updates, and platform-level changes
  • Create comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and cases aligned with product requirements and risk assessments
  • Ensure extensive test coverage across functional, regression, exploratory, and edge cases
  • Execute manual testing across multiple product lines and platforms
  • Log defects with clear reproduction steps, root cause analysis, and severity classification
  • Track and report testing outcomes using tools like Zephyr, ensuring clarity and accuracy
  • Act as QA owner within cross-functional scrum teams, representing quality throughout the SDLC

Other

  • 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance with at least 2+ years in a senior QA role
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments, especially with global teams
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor junior QA engineers and drive quality initiatives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in cross-team environments
