Lear Corporation is looking to solve the problem of maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction by hiring a Quality Liaison to handle customer complaints, identify and review quality issues, and make recommendations for improvements.
Requirements
- high knowledge of foam quality – Global foam standard, inspection, repair, sorting, special / critical specifications, lab testing, dimensional testing, RMA and product audits
- basic knowledge of PS, RCA, CA, CP, 8D, PPAP and APQP preferred
- proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
- basic understanding of office
- ability to use email, create excel reports and prepare PowerPoint presentations
- ability to take pictures or videos, for communication and documentation purposes
- foam or Polyurethane experience (bonus)
Responsibilities
- handle customer complaints related to quality and take necessary corrective actions
- identifying and reviewing quality issues and potential root-cause analysis and make recommendations for improvements to upper management
- providing quality support in the plant and at customer site
- respond in a professional way to customer questions regarding foam, defects, and quality on their production line & relay information to Selma
- create excel reports and prepare PowerPoint presentations
- take pictures or videos, for communication and documentation purposes
- read and respond to emails
Other
- high school diploma; minimum of 3+ years of automotive customer or quality liaison experience
- excellent communication and presentation skills
- strategic and tactical problem-solving skills
- strong interpersonal skills for collaboration
- proactive leadership with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- ability to travel to training, conferences, and plant support as required
