CGI is seeking a Mid-Level Manual QA Tester to uphold quality assurance standards and measures for a top Healthcare company, gathering and analyzing data to support business cases, projects, and system requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a QA Manual Tester:
- Must have recent Hands-on experience of API Testing using tools like POSTMAN.
- Must be able to understand the concepts of interoperability testing and contract testing between systems.
- Familiar with JSON validation techniques.
- Intermediate Microsoft SQL query skills required, exposure to writing/editing complex SQL queries
- Must be able to understand data mapping sheets and able to validate source to target workflows developed on cloud-data platform such as Databricks
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure preferred)
Responsibilities
- Define test process including required test activities, deliverables and test schedule.
- Understand how changes impact work upstream and downstream including various back end and front-end architectural modules
- Responsible for developing smoke, functional and regression test suites for GUI Front End, and Database backend
- Document, maintain, and monitor software problems
- Recommend strategies and methods to improve test plans and test processes
- As a member of the scrum team, closely interact with both onsite and offshore team members.
- Define test data conditions and partners and works closely with Data team to obtain the data.

- This role is based in Lafayette, LA in a Hybrid Model.
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to collaborate with a team of Business Analysts, Systems Analysts, Project Managers and Application Developers in various locations to test configuration of business requirements.
- Prior Experience In The Health Care Industry Preferred
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
