Abbott is looking to define and execute an integrated global Laboratory Strategy to ensure effective operation of all AN laboratories through established governance, optimized operating models and global standards.
Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, (Micro) Biology, Operations Management, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field
Minimum 10 years’ experience working in a matrix environment
Minimum 5 years’ experience leading a team & Experience leading complex projects
Quality Systems: Understanding of quality systems and requirements
Working in a laboratory environment (i.e. clinical lab, analytical lab, research lab)
Regulatory Standards: Knowledge of regulatory standards and requirements for infant and nutritional products
Responsibilities
Develop and manage the Laboratory Strategy and roadmap for Abbott Nutrition
Assure the laboratory quality systems are in compliance with International Regulations and Standards as well as Corporate and Division policies and procedures
Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business needs and opportunities to implement scalable and sustainable solutions utilizing cutting-edge technologies and integrated laboratory (data management) systems
Define global strategies to create, optimize and maintain industry leading laboratory systems and operational performance ensuring the integrity and validity of test results and ultimately the safety of all AN products
Establish global laboratory policies and standards and ensure consistent roll-out and implementation across AN’s global network
Proactively partner with R&D and Engineering in developing and implementing new, innovative testing solutions across the global network
Own global Laboratory Asset Management Program, including capital and project expense tracking, plan/LBE development
