The Healthy Homes Division needs to improve its data-driven decision-making process by developing and implementing a comprehensive quality assurance program plan and scientific integrity policy. The QA/QC Analyst will support the work and data needs across the Healthy Homes teams by maintaining O&M manuals and other environmental records for CHA properties related to environmentally focused capital maintenance repair work.

Requirements

  • Comprehensive knowledge of data management tools, processing, and methodologies.
  • Experience in quality assurance/quality control or scientific integrity.
  • Working knowledge of federal, state and local housing regulations is preferred.
  • Streamline CHA’s Healthy Homes-related data analysis and reporting processes by utilizing automated software such as PowerBI, R, etc.
  • Provide advanced support for various components of the reporting systems, including documentation, troubleshooting, and communication of changes to the team

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of Quality Assurance Program Plan (QAPP) and scientific integrity for Healthy Homes, with immediate focus on addressing lead-based paint projects and eventual integration of mold, asbestos, pest/pesticides management, and other perennial healthy homes concerns.
  • Implement effective QA/QC procedures on methodology, datasets, and databases.
  • Verify and validate data used by the organization to ensure data integrity and quality decision-making.
  • Perform data analysis on large datasets including environmental data and inspection reports.
  • Review and validate third-party contracting and services for methodology and data requirements.
  • Manage data reporting projects for federal, state, and local compliance.
  • Build or develop targeted reports, dashboards, and data visualizations

Other

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in environmental/physical/biological science, Public or Occupational Health, or related field
  • minimum 4 years of experience in quality assurance/quality control or scientific integrity.
