Hargrove is looking for a Construction Coordinator to manage construction field activity for small to moderate construction assignments, ensuring safe work practices, compliance with regulations, and efficient project execution.

Responsibilities
- Management of construction field activity:
- In cooperation with the site Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) organization, accountable for securing safe work permits for contractors, ensuring all applicable daily permits are in place before the start of work, and monitoring compliance with required permits throughout the day.
- Includes daily management of contractor field resources
- Working with the site Construction Manager to manage work priority to ensure commissioning milestones are met on assigned project(s)
- Troubleshooting concerns as they come up in the field
- QA/QC document generation and management.
- Coordinating inspections and conducting quality checks throughout the construction process to identify and resolve issues.
Other
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Construction Science, Building Science or related field from an accredited university is preferred.
- This position requires a minimum 10 years of relevant industrial construction coordination and administration experience.
- Ability to manage client relationships in complex situations.
- Ability to relate easily to others in the business community such as customers, suppliers, contractors, government, professional and trade associations.
