E2 Consulting Engineers, Inc. (E2) is seeking a qualified Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager to facilitate the successful execution of compressor stations and related facilities within the Southern California region.
Requirements
- A strong understanding of NFPA, IBC, CBC, AWS, ACI, AISC, ASME, API, ANSI, ASTM, NACE, SSPC, and AAMP codes and standards.
- Working knowledge of quality assurance/control and procedures related to project construction.
- Proficient with computers and portable electronic tablets and supporting software applications, such as Microsoft Office, Excel, Teams, Adobe Acrobat.
- Leading industry inspection certifications such as AWS CWI, ICC -S1, S2, 47, and EC, AMPP CIP 2 of 3, API 1184, 510, 570.
- Understanding of state and local municipal regulations.
- Use of strong oral and written communication, presentation and facilitation skills required.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Responsibilities
- Earthwork and grading inspections.
- Soil compaction and stabilization testing oversight.
- Concrete pre-pour and post-pour inspections (foundations, pilings, etc.).
- Rebar placement and materials verification.
- Structural steel erection oversight (Bolting, welding, etc.).
- Building quality surveillance.
- Be familiar with structural codes such as IBC, CBC, AWS, ACI, and AISC.
Other
- 10 years’ experience in construction inspection, QA/QC, or similar services, including management of quality control personnel.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License.
- Ability to work and travel in all types of weather extremes.
