Turner & Townsend is hiring a QA/QC Manager to lead quality assurance and quality control efforts for a global high-tech client’s data center construction projects, ensuring all construction activities meet client standards and comply with industry best practices.
Requirements
- Experience with data center or critical infrastructure projects preferred.
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or similar is preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, MEP systems, and quality control methodologies.
- Stay current with industry regulations (e.g., ISO 9001, OSHA) and technological advancements in data center construction.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project-specific QA/QC plans aligned with the client’s standards and industry best practices.
- Establish quality benchmarks and ensure integration into project workflows.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of construction activities, including material verification and installation procedures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.
- Identify, document, and track non-conformances.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Other
- Minimum 5 years in QA/QC, construction management, or related field.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
- SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
