SkyePoint Decisions is seeking a Qlik Developer to support the Department of Education’s (DoED) Federal Student Aid (FSA) Cybersecurity and Privacy Support Services (CPSS) by designing and delivering dynamic dashboards and integrated data solutions to transform complex data into actionable insights that drive mission success.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience as a Qlik Sense Developer or in a similar BI/DW role.
- Strong knowledge of Qlik Sense system administration, dashboard development, and data modeling.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database technologies (e.g., MS SQL Server, Oracle).
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex datasets into actionable insights and effective dashboards.
- Proficiency with data modeling best practices (star schema, incremental loads, mapping tables).
- Experience optimizing performance in large or complex dashboards.
- Knowledge of APIs, JSON, and REST-based integrations.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Qlik Sense applications and dashboards based on business requirements.
- Design and create data models to support effective data analysis and visualization.
- Testing and validation of data inputs
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Qlik Sense applications.
- Ensure the performance and security of Qlik Sense applications, maintaining data accuracy and reliability.
- Provide training and support to end-users, helping them understand and effectively use the applications.
- Create and maintain technical documentation related to application development and data processes.

- Must be able to obtain a DoED Level 6C High Risk/Public Trust Security Clearance.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical insights and interpret data reports for clients.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a good understanding of business processes.
- Active Top Secret security clearance.
