Veritiv is looking to solve the problem of driving compliance and process improvement efforts at each site within the region, while also improving customer compliance and quality objectives.
Requirements
- Knowledge of ISO9001 registered Quality System
- Experience with CAPA (corrective and preventive action) and root cause analysis
- Understanding of Continuous Improvement/POE projects/assignments
- Familiarity with KPI improvement and metrics
- Experience with standardization and training methods
- Knowledge of 5S Program implementation
- Understanding of ISO business processes and compliance efforts
Responsibilities
- Drives compliance and process improvement efforts at each site within the region. Coordinates with the Regional Quality Manager in the deployment of Continuous Improvement/POE projects/assignments.
- Coordinates and completes customer compliance requests through facilitation with the sales and operations teams.
- Works with the other members of the distribution quality team to recommend changes and continual improvements to existing processes and procedures.
- Drives improvement trough CAPA (corrective and preventive action) using root cause analysis, and other problem-solving techniques.
- Contributes to KPI improvement by engaging regional resources in projects to successful completion.
- Coaches coworkers on existing quality objectives and metrics utilizing Best Known Methods of standardization and training and ensuring that all changes fit into our ISO Registered Quality Systems.
- Supports the Regional Quality Manager as a point of connection within region, and aids in the maintenance, improvement., documentation, and auditing of the ISO9001 registered Quality System, including ALL facets of the Standard requirements.
