Leidos Defense Sector is seeking a Quality & Mission Assurance Auditor to ensure compliance with quality management system processes and product-specific processes that meet the requirements of AS9100 and CMMI, addressing issues in production, calibration, shelf life, human resources, purchasing, supplier evaluation, safety, nonconforming product, and business operations.
Requirements
- Familiarity with AS9100/ISO9001 standards and expertise in navigating the structure of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Must have worked in an environment where the candidate participated in auditing of requirements.
- Must be able to read and interpret procedures, work instructions, drawings, assembly schematics, and specifications.
- Develop audit plans, checklists, and metrics associated with audit events using strong computer skills.
- Must have computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office as well as Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
- Apply understanding of CMMI requirements across the collaborative network.
- Knowledge of contract requirements and DFARs etc.
Responsibilities
- Plan and oversee quality audit activities for Defense Sector programs and facilities to ensure higher program performance at the enterprise level.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, contractual, and corporate requirements through sector-wide audits.
- Facilitate the implementation of practices compliant with AS9100, ISO 9001, CMMI-DEV, CMMI-SVC.
- Ensure that the Defense Sector maintains an effective quality management system, by reporting on audit metrics that affect the enterprise.
- Conduct independent audits, ensuring compliance and fostering continual improvement.
- Ensure resolution of internal and external audit findings promptly through root cause analysis and corrective measures.
- Conduct trend analysis at sector and program levels, implementing measures for enterprise maturation.

- Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
- Must be able to work a full-time, 5-days per week 8-hours per shift.
- Candidate must be a US citizen and able to obtain/maintain a final Top Secret security clearance
