KBR’s Defense and Technology Solutions division is seeking to hire an engineering candidate to help shape the future of a strategically important Army missile program, specifically to review quality supplier management plans, product line verification and validation test plans/reports, and provide recommendations to improve yield and throughput.
Requirements
- Familiar with ISO9001 application in small, medium, and large business environments
- Technical understanding and execution of product line validations
- Skilled with validating first article inspections and first article test artifacts
- Experienced implementing project level product assurance plans across multiple contracts
- Adept experience briefing audiences and directly working with a customer
- Experience implementing FRACAS data into actionable plans for corrective action for fielded products
- Familiar evaluating product capability for the impact to testing, product acceptance and Technical Data Package (TDP) development
Responsibilities
- Reviewing quality supplier management plans
- Analyzing product line verification and validation test plans/reports
- Providing recommendations to improve yield and throughput
- Analyzing the production of mechanical and electromechanical assemblies
- Detailing analyses and/or designs in briefing-format
- Supporting an Army or other DoD customer
- Implementing project level product assurance plans across multiple contracts
Other
- Engineering BS Degree
- Active Secret clearance
- 15+ years of experience working in a DoD environment
- Masters degree in Engineering or other technical discipline
- 10+ years of missile defense experience and mobile ground systems
- Comfortable speaking across organizations, coordinating with multiple engineering and logistics disciplines
