Texas Security General Insurance is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to oversee and improve quality assurance processes and standards, ensure compliance with underwriting requirements, promote operational excellence, and maintain high standards of service delivery.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of Property & Casualty Excess & Surplus Markets insurance experience in a Carrier, MGA, Brokerage, or Agency setting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to learn and adopt new management systems quickly.
- Strong research and analytical skills related to various insurance products and coverages.
- Background in commercial lines underwriting preferred.
- Monitor and retest Profit Center action plans as needed to verify compliance and closure of prior audit items.
- Build an understanding of key insurance operations best practices and connect file review findings to potential risks to the company.
Responsibilities
- Review all insurance operations best practices for Profit Centers to verify compliance with Brown & Brown best practices.
- Prepare for, coordinate, and actively support internal and external audits, including maintaining documentation, gathering requested materials, and participating in audit reviews and follow-ups.
- Partner with carrier audit teams and internal stakeholders to address findings, track remediation plans, and ensure timely resolution of audit-related issues.
- Establish process improvement efforts by analyzing existing workflows, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and collaborating with stakeholders to redesign processes that reduce errors and enhance compliance.
- Obtain stakeholder collaboration through close interaction with underwriting, operations teams, and carrier partners by addressing quality concerns and implementing improvements; serve as a liaison between departments to ensure alignment on quality standards.
- Complete all delegated work in preparation for reviews including, but not limited to, review of prior reports, procedure manuals, issuing carrier ratings and exceptions, licensing, websites, and contracts in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy.
- Communicate findings from review work with teammates, develop clear questions and documentation to support audit readiness, and escalate concerns to leadership as needed.

- Active P&C license in the state of Texas is required.
- College degree preferred.
