HUB Customer Central (HCC) is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to improve the reliability, performance, and stability of their customer-facing web applications, which allow users to quote, purchase, and modify insurance policies online.
Requirements
- Experience manually testing software/web applications
- Experience writing and executing comprehensive test plans which validate both technical and business requirements
- Strong dynamic programming language skills
- Experience testing web applications with automation tools
- Strong problem solving and analysis skills
- High attention to detail

Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated tests for applications following industry and team best practices
- Plan and conduct manual testing where automated testing opportunities do not exist today and where automation is unlikely to occur (ie. legacy systems)
- Plan and conduct regression testing to ensure that unintended changes are not introduced
- Automate tasks and build tools to increase efficiency
- Identify & help mitigate project risks (security, technical, and otherwise)
- Learn and understand the needs of our customers and the business and design solutions that positively impact both
- Prioritizes available tasks and personal workload to meet the team's goals and respond to emergency situations effectively
Other
- Post-secondary diploma/degree in Computer Science
- 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Desire and ability to learn new methodologies and skills
- Self-sufficient and able to work autonomously
