Supporting the U.S. Department of Energy – Environmental Management, Hanford Field Office (DOE-EM / HFO) in ensuring the integrity and compliance of quality assurance processes for the safe remediation, compliance, and innovation of nuclear waste treatment at the Hanford Site.
Requirements
- 6–10+ years QA experience; DOE/NQA-1 preferred.
- BS or equivalent; QA certifications beneficial.
- Experience in the Environmental Management Sector.
- Knowledge of quality assurance processes and nuclear safety standards.
- Experience with auditing and corrective actions.
- Familiarity with QA documentation.
- Ability to perform QA oversight consulting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct audits, surveillances, manage corrective actions, maintain QAP procedures.
- Provide mentorship and integrate quality assurance processes, ensuring nuclear safety standards are met.
- Support program and project management in daily business activities and initiatives.
- Assist with QA documentation and auditing.
- Establish supplier qualification plans.
- Provide expert guidance and oversight for Tank Waste and Waste Treatment programs.
- Support oversight and general support services under Job Task Category 06 Assistant Manager for Tank Waste and Waste Treatment.
Other
- Work shall be conducted at the Hanford Field Office and the Hanford Site in Richland, Washington.
- Travel as coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer.
- ProSidian Team Members shall have a Facility Clearance; when required, personnel shall possess a DOE Clearance level.
- Government-Furnished Resources include office space, computer workstations, and required software at the Hanford Field Office.
- BS or equivalent degree required.
