Requirements

  • excellent computer skills
  • strong research and analytical skills including collecting, analyzing and summarizing data into identifiable trends
  • background in clinical data abstraction
  • experience working with CIBMTR (Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research) standards
  • experience with data visualization tools
  • experience with statistical analysis software
  • experience with data management and analysis

Responsibilities

  • collecting, reviewing, and abstracting complex medical data related to stem cell transplantation and cellular therapies
  • collaborating closely with clinicians and healthcare team members to ensure data entry accuracy and compliance with CIBMTR standards
  • organizing data in appropriate file formats for external submission and internal usage for quantitative and statistical analysis
  • utilizing tools to develop visualizations such as charts, graphs, and dashboards to present data in a clear and concise manner
  • analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • developing and implementing performance improvement initiatives
  • collaborating with the quality team to advance world-class care

Other

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • clinical licensure (RN, PA, PharmD) preferred
  • Masters degree in a related field, such as Public Health preferred
  • 1-3 years of related experience preferred
  • excellent writing and communication skills
  • ability to work collaboratively across multi-functional teams
