Requirements
- Ability to understand basic manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Proficient computer skills.
- Basic math skills including fractions.
- Order Picker Equipment Certified a plus.
- Apparel QA experience beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Monitors assigned audits and/or special projects while maintaining a “hands-on” auditing role.
- Train auditors as needed following Quality Assurance inspection guidelines and process.
- Maintain Quality Assurance auditor training to ensure audits are following correct guidelines and processes.
- Monitors audits throughout the day by way of MS Teams Quality Assurance group messages and photos.
- Advises Quality Assurance defect codes for auditors as needed.
- Continuously monitors and recommends changes to audit process to maximize efficiency.
- Task out daily Quality Assurance audits as needed.
Other
- Thoroughly communicates necessary Quality Assurance audit details to their immediate manager.
- Travel to other distribution centers as needed.
- Follows all safety protocols and Skechers policies
- Prepare apparel audit spreadsheets.
- Data entry of completed audits as needed.
- Communicate major time sensitive quality issues to relevant corporate personnel when necessary.
- Fluent in reading, writing, and verbally communicating in English.
