The company is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of their web and mobile applications, guaranteeing a seamless user experience across multiple platforms.
Requirements
- Strong focus on testing both web and mobile applications
- Familiarity with various testing methodologies and tools
- Experience with a bug tracking tool like Jira, Asana, or similar
- Proficiency in test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr)
- Knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress
- Solid understanding of different operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS, iOS, Android)
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Experience with a programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java)
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
- Knowledge of testing APIs using tools like Postman or Swagger
- Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter)
Responsibilities
- Develop and Execute Test Plans: Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both web and mobile applications
- Conduct Testing: Perform manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, smoke, and performance testing on web, iOS, and Android platforms
- Bug Management: Identify, document, and track software bugs and defects using a bug tracking system (e.g., Jira). Work with developers to ensure issues are resolved promptly
- Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to understand project requirements and ensure all acceptance criteria are met
- Automation: Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks and scripts to improve efficiency and coverage
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives, including defining and implementing best practices for software quality assurance
