LKQ Corporation is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to contribute to the remanufacturing of automotive engines and ensure excellent performance to meet the needs of internal and external customers.
Requirements
- Ability to read and write.
- Good math, writing, communication skills, ability to work well with others
- May include precision measuring equipment required for production and/or quality functions as well as basic lab equipment
- Must wear all company required personal protective equipment in required areas.
- Care necessary to avoid placing self and others in an unsafe environment
- Provide quality products and services to meet the needs of both internal and external customers.
- Quality of work impacts succeeding operations
Responsibilities
- Under the direct supervision of the Department Manager, Supervisor or Lead, performs inspections of standardized assemblies, sub-assemblies, machined parts, operations and/or products.
- Inspection duties may be performed visually or with the use of precision measuring equipment such as gauges, calipers, micrometers, etc.
- This position may perform other duties as assigned or fill in for others in the department or other departments as needed or requested.
- May train or instruct fellow workers regarding duties.
- Provide quality products and services to meet the needs of both internal and external customers.
