LTS Lohmann is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to ensure compliance with standards and customer requirements for pharmaceutical and medical device products
Requirements
- Experience with basic measuring and testing equipment
- Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft software
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, metric conversion)
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, drawings, and specifications
- Experience working in an ISO and cGMP environment
- Associate's or Technical degree in Quality Control
- 2+ years of experience in quality inspection in a pharmaceutical or medical device environment
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections to verify product conformance to specifications
- Operate various test and measurement equipment such as calipers, rulers, Instron and Nikon
- Perform in-process and final inspections on pharmaceutical and medical device products
- Review and release production lines
- Monitor environmental systems for compliance
- Collect and review finished product retain samples
- Review controlled records throughout the production process
Other
- High School Diploma or GED
- Physical ability to bend, squat, kneel, and lift up to 45 pounds
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Ability to work 2nd shift: 2:00pm to 10:30am, Monday-Friday
