The J.M. Smucker Company is seeking an intern to assist in auditing contract manufacturers, suppliers, and internal plants/warehouses, ensuring quality and compliance. This role will also support new product development and existing product reviews.

- requisite educational experience in Microbiology, Biology, Food Science, Animal Science, or other related field
- Utilize TraceGains software and other systems
Responsibilities
- Audit Smucker contract manufacturers, supplies, and internal teams
- Provide Follow up and corrective action to teams
- Participate in new product commissioning
- Participate in new product qualifications
- Participate in finished product reviews and evaluations
- Support contract manufacturers, warehouse, and supplier evaluations
- Utilize TraceGains software and other systems
Other
- A Freshman, Sophomore, Junior or Senior standing in school
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher
- A well-rounded skill set including strong time-management, communication, teamwork skills, and the ability to be a self-motivated employee
