Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related Engineering field
- Engine and knowledge of vehicle systems is helpful
Responsibilities
- Learn High Automation Engine Production Process
- Learn Project Management Skills and Quality Initiatives
- Lead a Project in the Department and Perform a Final Presentation to Department leadership
- Coordinate with other Engineers, learning the during facets of Manufacturing and Powertrain Development
- go from basic teardown, to running the test, to programing and designing test patterns and modifying the test cell and equipment
Other
- Full-time, 12 week program
- Junior or Senior
- GPA of 3.0 or above
- Strong organization ability with keen attention to detail
- Be self-motivated and willing to challenge yourself to develop your talents and skill sets
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to perform work onsite in Decherd, TN. M-F onsite.
