Octane is looking to solve the problem of delivering a seamless, end-to-end digital buying experience for recreational purchases, such as powersports vehicles, RVs, and OPE, by combining cutting-edge technology and innovative risk strategies.
Requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge of Compliance requirements and Regulatory expectations, and process QA assessment
- Able to execute tasks using multiple tools at any given time: Salesforce, Slack, e-mail, Google Sheet user, and proprietary LOS.
- Strong work ethic and high attention to detail.
- At least 3+ years of audit experience in Quality Assurance, Loan Processing, Underwriting, or Funding, Automotive, RV, motorsports or consumer loan durable goods industries preferred.
- Experience with credit decisioning of credit applications and verification activities within loan processing
- Knowledge of the Fair Credit Reporting Act and other federal and state regulations
- Experience with multiple product lines and programs
Responsibilities
- Assist Team Lead with team scheduling by providing feedback from training and gathering performance data.
- Coach, articulate insights and support team members utilizing QA reporting and metrics to ensure effective and accurate audit processes.
- Perform daily audit functions supporting our credit and funding operations including but not limited to credit decisioning of credit applications and verification activities within loan processing in accordance with credit policy and procedure guidelines.
- Ensure accurate execution of credit policies and ensure compliance in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act and other federal and state regulations, across multiple product lines and programs.
- Accurately record audit results in a clear and straightforward manner so management can understand and share results with team members.
- Identify trends of behavior on individual, pod, and organization levels.
- Initiate and oversee projects and the delegation of tasks.
Other
- 2 + years college and High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
- Able to work well under pressure to meet daily and monthly goals with minimal direction.
