Atmos Energy Corporation is looking to solve pipeline safety, occupational safety, environmental, and other areas relevant to key company processes, activities, and assets
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or a related field
- Knowledge of pipeline safety regulations or pipeline operations
- Advanced knowledge of various software applications for creating complex documents, reports, and graphics
- Ability to perform algebraic, trigonometric, and geometric operations and/or moderately complex statistical and/or accounting methods
- ISO 9000 and 9001 familiarity is a plus
- Experience with quality assurance protocols
- Experience with data collection and tracking
Responsibilities
- Provides analytical support and assistance with analysis and evaluation of procedures, processes, and records for sufficiency and effectiveness
- Manages, schedules, and assists with panel discussions/interviews with internal stakeholders
- Collects and tracks data as appropriate for assessments being conducted; documents risks and related controls within the scope of specific quality assurance protocols
- Works with QA Team and internal stakeholders on the process for timely completion of assessments
- Draft and monitor continuous improvement plans (CIP) from inception to completion
- Offers feedback and recommends changes to QA or enterprise processes, procedures, and practices where appropriate
- Communicates changes necessary for continuous improvement
Other
- Ability to interact and work with multiple departments across the enterprise, as well as external stakeholders
- Ability to read and interpret federal and state regulations
- High school diploma or a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) and five years progressively responsible experience
- Bachelor's degree and three years pipeline safety and industry related experience
