Atmos Energy Corporation is looking to solve pipeline safety, occupational safety, environmental, and other areas relevant to key company processes, activities, and assets

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or a related field
  • Knowledge of pipeline safety regulations or pipeline operations
  • Advanced knowledge of various software applications for creating complex documents, reports, and graphics
  • Ability to perform algebraic, trigonometric, and geometric operations and/or moderately complex statistical and/or accounting methods
  • ISO 9000 and 9001 familiarity is a plus
  • Experience with quality assurance protocols
  • Experience with data collection and tracking

Responsibilities

  • Provides analytical support and assistance with analysis and evaluation of procedures, processes, and records for sufficiency and effectiveness
  • Manages, schedules, and assists with panel discussions/interviews with internal stakeholders
  • Collects and tracks data as appropriate for assessments being conducted; documents risks and related controls within the scope of specific quality assurance protocols
  • Works with QA Team and internal stakeholders on the process for timely completion of assessments
  • Draft and monitor continuous improvement plans (CIP) from inception to completion
  • Offers feedback and recommends changes to QA or enterprise processes, procedures, and practices where appropriate
  • Communicates changes necessary for continuous improvement

  • Ability to interact and work with multiple departments across the enterprise, as well as external stakeholders
  • Ability to read and interpret federal and state regulations
  • High school diploma or a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) and five years progressively responsible experience
  • Bachelor's degree and three years pipeline safety and industry related experience
