Boar's Head Provisions Co., Inc. is looking to hire an FSQA Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the FSQA Department and ensure all food safety and quality programs are accomplished in a thorough and timely manner.
Requirements
- Must be HACCP trained or be able to attend a training course.
- Serve Safe Manager Certification
- SQF or any other GFSI Scheme certification desired.
- Auditor Certification preferred (i.e. American Society for Quality – Certified HACCP Auditor, Certified Quality Auditor)
Responsibilities
- Verification of the Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures.
- Verification of HACCP Programs for the plant.
- Supervise and assist FSQA Technicians in their daily duties.
- Manage and document daily product slicing.
- Ensure Label Requirements are met for all bags and boxes.
- Administer the Micro and Environmental Programs.
- Review and monitor all in Plant Programs relating to FSQA.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in a food science or related discipline; at least five (5) years of work experience. A mixture of education and experience equivalent to the above may substitute.
- Must be able to work in both warm and cold environments.
- Must be able to work in a meat, cheese or condiment processing environments (wet, presence of blood and meat juices, loud noises, various olfactory conditions, etc.)
- Must be able to travel and assist in auditing venues with manager.
- Travel is less than 40%.
