PSG is looking to optimize Product Quality productivity, reduce process variation & improve overall customer satisfaction by hiring a Quality Assurance Technician.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of ANSI-14.5-2018.
  • Knowledgeable in the use of all standard inspection tools including optical comparators.
  • Ability to program coordinate measuring machine (CMM) and portable coordinate measuring machine (PCMM) using various measurement software.
  • Competent in the interpretation of ANSI Y14.5 tolerance.
  • Knowledgeable in ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and industry requirement.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and understand standard level shop math. (Geometry & Trigonometry level).
  • Possess intermediate written and oral English communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • performing inspections 50-75% of the time on all procured parts to ensure compliance with Process & Engineering requirements.
  • assemble reports to document quality functional status, document changes, and monitor operational metrics to discover areas for improvement and implement necessary controls to achieve the required performance.
  • supporting activities to facilitate implementation of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, and its related processes and procedures.
  • Able to perform AS9102 First Article Inspection
  • Directly perform the measuring and testing of products and tabulating data concerning dimensional specifications, part quality and part acceptance criteria.
  • Using QMS tools, maintain records of product conformance in adherence to QA plans.
  • Monitor & maintain calibration of quality tools or devices necessary for the part inspection, process control and implementation of test procedures.

Other

  • Associates level degree with a minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing environment or 2 or more years of college level training or accredited Quality certifications, in conjunction with minimum 6 years’ manufacturing experience may apply.
  • Must have moderate to high computer competency. Understands basic computer equipment and corporate approved Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Experience with industry standard ERP business software.
  • Works overtime as assigned
  • Maintains excellent attendance and punctuality.
