The Quality Auditor provides support regarding packaging, assembly, and performs incoming audits of purchased parts. Performs quality assurance activities to assure that all finished goods & parts meet the specification and requirements. Monitors systems and procedures to measure their effectiveness to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Basic metrology skills with test equipment
- Reasonable computer skills, especially Microsoft Office/Excel
- Must have basic math skills
- Experience using computers and Excel
- Industrial manufacturing experience preferred
- ASQ CQT certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Participate in the quality sampling systems and procedures to ensure that all required test samples are obtained and prepared for testing.
- Prepare samples to the specific required sizes for testing utilizing a miter saw, table saw, drill press, and planer.
- Responsible for assisting manufacturing in the monitoring and assuring of product quality.
- Routinely tests product characteristics, in process and post production.
- Graphs, analyzes, records and reports meaningful information from these tests.
- Promptly reports results of audits/tests/analyses to the appropriate individual; advising whether or not the results are acceptable.
- Supports maintaining and updating test records.
