Plastipak is looking to ensure their plastic packaging products meet quality standards and customer specifications by hiring a Night Shift Quality Auditor.
Requirements
- Familiarity with standard operating procedure (SOP) documents
- Ability to navigate our ERP system (SAP), including retrieving and entering data, locating documents, conducting transactions and compiling reports
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspections of in-process product & finished plastic containers in the lab, on the production floor & in the warehouse to evaluate product quality
- Use measuring instruments to measure dimensions & performance criteria's adherence to customer specifications
- Create and modify test plans using SAP
- Conduct regular audits regarding non-conforming product
- Regularly engage with Associates about product conformance
Other
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- At least one year of manufacturing work experience, with a strong preference for Quality experience
- Superior attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to walk and stand on production floor throughout shift with or without a reasonable accommodation
