Emerson is looking to support the Professional Tools business by hiring an Industrial or Mechanical Engineering student to assist with various aspects of the Quality department.
Requirements
- Undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Some coursework related to Quality or Engineering
Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily requirements and documentation of Metallurgy and Metrology processes.
- Collaborate with the inspection department to build standard work for inspection processes.
- Work with the quality department to standardize CMM reporting and reporting standards.
- Implement and standardize outputs of CMMs for ease of data collection.

- Ability to work 40 hours/week during the scheduled semester

- Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher
- Sophomore or higher class status
