Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is looking for an RS QC Analyst to ensure aircraft airworthiness is maintained in a timely and efficient manner by performing final work order audits and reviews for discrepancies in completeness and accuracy of data, and communicating findings to Quality Inspection Supervisors.
Requirements
- A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license required.
- General knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, Advisory Circulars, FAA forms and documents, as well as any foreign authority documentation.
- Technical knowledge of aircraft theory, inspection processes and procedure requirements and how they integrate with aircraft records.
- General knowledge of aircraft logbooks and maintenance entries including proper aircraft work order documentation.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience inspecting parts, assembly, and installation conformity in support of major alterations in a repair station environment is very desirable.
- Experience with foreign authority documentation desirable/not required.
Responsibilities
- Performs final work order audit/review for discrepancies in completeness and accuracy of data.
- Communicates findings to Quality Inspection Supervisors and assists subordinates in the general and technical aspects of Quality Control to ensure aircraft airworthiness is maintained in a timely and efficient manner.
- Prepares and schedules aircraft documentation with the Office Staff and Inspection team.
- Reviews all documents and work orders prior to return to service of the aircraft and ensures aircraft returns to service in accordance with current FARs and company policy.
- Develops and implements documents for QC utilization.
- Maintains documents for the Quality Control department.
- Coordinates new STCs, Aircraft Flight Manual Supplements and FAA Form 337 field approval of avionics and mechanical installations with Engineering Certification group and the FAA.
Other
- Bachelor's Degree in related curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
- 4 years of airworthiness experience with in any of the following areas 14CFR Parts 23, 25, 27, 29, 33 and/or Parts 91, 121,125,135,145 or 4 years of military aviation maintenance experience.
- Requires accuracy and attention to detail.
- Must possess strong analytical ability.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
