Ensure that incoming parts, in-process production, and shipped product fulfill all quality requirements at Sierra Nevada Company, LLC (SNC)
Requirements
- Knowledge and ability to understand and interpret technical schematics and drawings
- Knowledge and ability to interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerance
- Experience with Costpoint and/or AEGIS-MES
- Basic understanding of material flow in operations
- Experience with Network+, Security+, CCNA and/or A+
- Working knowledge of ISO 9000 and AS 9100 standards
Responsibilities
- Visually inspecting materials, parts, and products at different stages of production
- Recording observations and making recommendations for improving processes
- Inspecting for structural flaws, internal defects, or missing welds
- Accept, reject, or request rework of defective or malfunctioning units or systems
- Apply quality standards for receiving, in-process and final inspection
- Draft work instructions and SOP's
- Conduct finished goods inspection
Other
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience
- U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or U.S. Department of Commerce
- Ability to pass a background check for Security Clearances
- Must be willing to work in a collaborative environment
