Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases is looking to solve the problem of ensuring high-quality products by conducting detailed inspections throughout manufacturing stages.
Requirements
- Familiar with ASME Y14.5 (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance).
- Proficient with measuring equipment (Faro/Romer Arm, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges).
- Working experience on several computer programs and databases (MS Office, Outlook, MRP, Engineering drawing database).
- Ability to interpret and extract necessary information per production travelers, CAD drawings (blue-prints), CAD models, procedures, specifications, and industrial standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inspection records and facilitate material movement as needed.
- Ensure all inspection tools and workspaces are organized and compliant with safety protocols.
- Conduct comprehensive inspections, including receiving (purchased parts), in-process (internal and external parts), and final inspections (assemblies, sub-assemblies, and skids).
Other
- High School diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree or vocational training in mechanical inspection, manufacturing technology or related field desirable.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience inspecting materials and mechanical parts used in the manufacture of high-speed machinery.
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license (2-year clean record may be required).
- Willing to learn and improve inspection skills to the next level.
