Sev1Tech is seeking a Quality Specialist III to support the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC Atlantic) Expeditionary Enterprise Systems and Services (E2S2) Division. NIWC Atlantic provides design, acquisition, and sustainment services for Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) Information Technology (IT) systems. Ensures that the product/service and process meet quality and safety standards.

Requirements

  • 5 years professional experience solving technical problems.
  • Trained in the skills and techniques related to engineering and/or software design/maintenance.
  • Possess a practical understanding of engineering concepts.
  • Experience includes testing equipment to make sure that the process operates effectively and safely.
  • Individual shall be able to interpret plans and drawings and contribute to the design and fabrication of test specimens.
  • Experience in computer aided drafting (CAD), ability to prepare shop drawings for model construction, and be familiar with material specifications and fabrication methods.
  • Individual will be working toward the relevant certifications within one and a half year after assuming duties: Professional Software Engineering Master (PSEM)/ Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) or with COR approval complete a vendor/platform specific certification: Microsoft role-based certifications, Microsoft Certified Applicable Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP), CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CISCO Certified Design Professional (CCDP), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), VMWare Certified Professional (VCP), Cloud certifications, etc.

  • High School diploma/GED, related military experience, or trade/industrial school graduate.
  • Active Top Secret Level Clearance
