Ensure that released products meet customer expectations and that the requirements of the Quality Management System are being met at First Quality Tissue.
Requirements
- At least 1 year manufacturing quality experience
- Testing or inspection experience for basis weight, tensile strength and elongation, finished product, and product packaging preferred
- Post high school education or certifications in applicable fields preferred
Responsibilities
- Correctly understands and performs quality testing and inspection requirements
- Conducts daily audits for the following focus areas: Calibration/verification of testing and measuring equipment, Product testing and visual inspection results, Product and process inspections, Compliance to PPM and record keeping instructions, Release of acceptable product, Control of nonconforming materials (Raw Materials, Parent Rolls, and Finished Goods)
- Completes independent product audits
- Provides and reinforces quality training for Team members
- Supports Team members in the identification and control of nonconforming materials (raw materials, parent rolls, and finished goods)

- Must be able to climb stairs and perform tasks on mezzanine
