PPG Aerospace is seeking a Quality Control Technician to execute inspections related to product quality, ensuring the delivery of quality products.
Requirements
- Digital literacy in ERP System (QAD preferred) and Microsoft office.
- Minimum of 2 years of laboratory/inspection experience or similar experience preferred.
- Attention to detail, follow instructions, ability to work with others, work in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize duties, and carry through with all steps needed to complete each function.
- Ability to clearly identify and communicate issues that need to be addressed and to take the necessary steps to avoid future errors.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be a US citizen
Responsibilities
- Follow established procedures and guidelines to check, test, and inspect raw materials, goods in process, and finished goods.
- Be involved in physical inspection and/or testing of raw materials as well as in process and finished goods. Tests conducted may include visual, dimensional, etc.
- Calibration of Equipment, housekeeping and disposing of material and product.
- Following specifications, SOPs and industry standards for inspection of parts.
- Upholding safety standards for the team, and this includes wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and following safety guidelines.
- Time management and recognition of work efficiency.
- Keen observation in attention to detail, good record keeping through quality records.
