Beth Israel Lahey Health is looking to solve the problem of providing data analysis and interpretation of reported patient safety issues to support improvement activities and organizational activities.
Requirements
- Healthcare IT, Electronic Health Record or Clinical Data experience preferred.
- Experience with Clinical Data Registries, rL Solutions, Vizient Clinical Database and Press Ganey desirable but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, and Visio.
- Ability to grasp technical information, detail-oriented, with excellent writing, and research and organizational experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Strong definition, analysis, development, and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of project management, quality improvement techniques, statistical analysis methods.
- Ability to understand and graphically display complex numerical data using a variety of graphing tools and present the information to both clinical and non-clinical employees.
Responsibilities
- Serve as system manager and report writer on rL Solutions Safety Reporting (STARS) and Patient Complaints database.
- Serves as the primary analyst for Vizient CDB and other systems including Provider Performance and Resource Manager including managing extracts and reporting.
- Serves as the primary analyst for the Medisolv performance measure reporting tool for CMS, MassHealth and Joint Commission measures including managing data extracts, users, reporting and measure submissions and serving as the primary liaison with IS
- Serve as a system administrator and report writer on PressGaney Fusion reporting application.
- Works collaboratively with OneIS and Quality and Safety to assure compliance with Promoting Interoperability (PI) and eCQM measures.
- Analyses data and compiles reports and analysis from Quality Reporting systems and Clinical Data Registries using both proprietary and industry reporting tools such as Excel and Crystal reports.
- Coordinate the retrieval of information and creation of reports from other systems as directed.

- Verbal, quantitative, and interpersonal skills, generally acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's degree or three to four years relevant Healthcare IT experience.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage multiple projects and reporting deadlines.
- Ability to effectively facilitate groups and meet team deadlines remotely.

- Normal office environment with contact with staff, including clinicians in all hospital areas
