Boston Scientific is looking to solve the business problem of efficiently and effectively investigating field complaints against their products to improve patient care. This internship role supports the Cardiac Rhythm Management Complaint Investigation Site within the Post-Market Quality Assurance team by analyzing these complaints.
Requirements
- Experience with Data analysis
- Understanding of technical engineering topics
- Currently pursuing a degree in electrical, mechanical, electro-mechanical, or chemical engineering.
Responsibilities
- Assume a technical role within the Complaint Investigation Site by using technical expertise and knowledge to support current and new market released technology
- Assist Senior-level engineers in projects to enhance the ability to perform various complaint investigations
- Communicate product quality issues to Senior Engineers and/or Management for awareness to cross functional areas including Research and Development, Supplier Quality, and Manufacturing
- Participate in cross functional teams to resolve quality issues
- Perform a variety of duties in the electrical, mechanical, electro-mechanical, chemical, or optical areas
- Serve as a support role for other activities within the Complaint Investigation Site as needed
Other
- Must graduate in Fall 2026
- Must have at least one semester of school left post-internship
- Must be able to commit to one of the following full internship program periods: May 18th – August 7th OR May 26th – August 14th
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the Arden Hills Boston Scientific Corporate location
- Strong communication (verbal and written)
- Strong Technical Writing skills
