The company is looking to ensure compliance with various quality standards and improve its manufacturing processes through data analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of QMS principles, ISO 9001:2015, and API Q1 standards.
- Proficiency in Statistical Process Control (SPC), Statistical Quality Control (SQC), and quality tools.
- Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and specifications with tight tolerances.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of inspection techniques and process control strategies.
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, particularly with fiberglass, is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, API Q1, ASTM, and customer-specific standards.
- Develop and maintain quality documentation including procedures, work instructions, inspection plans, and forms.
- Conduct Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA/DFMEA), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), and Process Capability Studies.
- Manage calibration and gauge R&R programs for monitoring and measuring equipment.
- Lead internal audits, process audits, and support third-party or customer audits.
- Analyze quality data, perform trend analysis on NCRs and CPARs, and report on metrics such as scrap, rework, and customer escapes.
- Investigate product and process nonconformities, issue corrective and preventive actions, and validate effectiveness.

- Up to 10% domestic travel may be required for audits, inspections, or training.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs., and be physically present in manufacturing areas for extended periods.
- Use of appropriate PPE is required in designated areas.
