Jabil is looking to ensure the quality of all production processes and products through implementation of inspection procedures, equipment maintenance programs, training, and corrective action plans, while also implementing improvements to increase process efficiencies and reduce costs.
Requirements
- Knowledgeable in SPC, MSA, APQP and PFMEA.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Responsibilities
- Lead efforts in continuous improvement projects, including cost reduction and quality assurance.
- Implement quality control systems to ensure product reliability and adherence to industry standards.
- Develop effective solutions to complex problems using sound engineering principles.
- Provide guidance to other engineers on technical matters related to manufacturing operations.
- Conduct regular audits to identify potential areas of concern or non-compliance.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) when necessary to determine cause of nonconformity.
- Develop and implement corrective actions (CAPA) based on RCA findings.
Other
- Manage customer complaints regarding quality issues.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams such as Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and Maintenance to address quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
