Leidos Digital Modernization group is seeking a Quality Engineering & Control Representative (QEC) to support the NMEC DTP TO4 Program and ensure conformance with contract and performance work statement (PWS), Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP), and industry standards and best practices
Requirements
- Experience working with SharePoint and MS Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with Government and DoD IT and security policies and requirements
- Experience in ISO 9001:2015 and CMMI-SVC Industry Standards and Best Practices
- Current industry certifications in quality management and or service management such as ISO 9001-20000 and ITIL
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Ability to multi-task and function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Excellent documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Quality Management: Develop and implement plans and activities that execute and measure the requirements according to Leidos policies and standards
- Performance and Control: Measure program performance against contractual requirements
- Internal Audits: Assist in the creation of the Internal Audit Schedule to drive compliance with the PWS, QASP, Leidos Policies and Procedures, the Quality Plan, and other Industry Standards and Best Practices
- Continual Improvement: Identify issues, process breakdowns, or negative trends and recommend them for improvement action
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis to understand the underlying reasons for issues and appropriately identify corrective and preventive actions to address them
- Track corrective and preventive actions drive to closure
- Collaborate with various IT service teams to resolve problems and prevent future occurrences
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with 12-15 years of professional experience; or a Master’s degree in a related discipline with 10-13 years of professional experience
- Currently possess a DoD Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate with executive leadership (internally or client) regarding matters of significant importance to the organization/project
- Ability to convince others to accept area’s view/current practices and agree/accept new concepts, practices and approaches
