Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) is looking to solve complex quality problems and ensure all quality standards are met for their products and production equipment.
Requirements
- Familiarity with Quality System requirements and contract quality requirements
- Basic understanding of manufacturing and inspection
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, parts lists, specifications, instructions, and test procedures
- General knowledge of SO9001, AS9001 standards
Responsibilities
- participate in the designing and testing of processes, mechanisms, and equipment
- development of standardized quality acceptance criteria
- write inspection procedure
- assist in reviewing and evaluating in-process rejections, obtain disposition, and implement corrective action as needed
- participate in audits
- conduct projects involving the design and development of new evaluation and control processes utilizing statistical analysis and other control/risk mitigation techniques
Other
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field and typically 0-2 or more years of relevant experience
- U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance
- Must be eligible to obtain a security clearance
