Donaldson is committed to solving the world’s most complex filtration challenges. The Quality Engineer II will train inspectors/Technicians concerning product quality criteria and develop/optimize inspection systems resulting from Engineering and/or Customer feedback.
Requirements
- 4 years’ working experience in Quality Management Systems.
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office systems.
- Ability to host 3rd party and customer inspections, including organizing and presenting all required documentation.
- Experience in training others in QMS functions.
- Auditing experience
- Direct experience with Welding and Metal Working processes.
- Familiarity with Solidworks and Polyworks programs.
- Experience with ISO9001 – ISO 14001 requirements.
- Familiarity with SPPAP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA and 8D’s.
Responsibilities
- Establish and optimize product and process criteria and ensure their deployment throughout our various value streams.
- Lead and engage in customer complaint investigations and corrective action responses.
- Work with cross functional teams to drive continuous improvement for both departmental and facility goals.
- Maintain PPAP program both internally and coordinated with customer portals.
- Participate in PFMEA & Control plan development and review.
- Support QM to facilitate internal and external ISO audits.
